TFP Hydrogen, a James Cropper Company and leading provider of innovative solutions in catalysts and coatings for hydrogen technologies, has announced four key appointments within its commercial and operations teams. These appointments emphasise the company’s commitment to driving innovation, expanding market presence, accelerating global sales growth and delivering world class customer experience.

Tom Sharrock, who serves as Head of Sales for Technical Fibre Products (TFP) EAP (Europe & Asia Pacific), will expand his role to incorporate Global Head of Sales for TFP Hydrogen.   With continued growth in the UK and US, Tom’s role will focus on aligning sales efforts with technical excellence to support the successful implementation of the global hydrogen strategy. Commenting on the appointment Tom said, “It is an exciting time to lead the rapidly expanding coatings and catalysts division of our business, with its focus on producing materials to accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen technologies. I look forward to bringing my expertise to the role and working closely with the great teams that we already have in place to help build on previous successes and realise the company’s ambitious growth strategy.”

In addition to Tom’s promotion, there have been a number of new appointments. Jack Williams joins TFP Hydrogen as Business Development Manager, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in the chemicals sector. With a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Manchester University, Jack has previously worked at Johnson Matthey and INEOS, where most recently he served as Global Business Development Manager for the coating and refurbishment of Chlor Alkali electrolyser technologies.

Boris Su also joins the company as Global Product Manager across the James Cropper Advanced Materials Division, leveraging over 15 years of experience in product management across various industries. The James Cropper Advanced Materials Division manufactures nonwoven and electrochemical materials across a wide range of markets such as aerospace, automotive and construction, with a strong focus on enabling green technologies, such as fuel cells, green hydrogen generation, wind energy and electric vehicles. The acquisition of TFP Hydrogen Products in 2021 strengthened the company’s offering in the rapidly accelerating Hydrogen sector, producing coated components for PEM water electrolysis which significantly reduce the cost of producing Green Hydrogen, a critical part of the global transition to sustainable energy.
