Deutsche Bahn orders 44 Stadler battery-electric trains

DB Regio, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn which operates regional and commuter train services in Germany, has ordered 44 battery-electric Flirt Akku multiple units from Swiss manufacturer Stadler.
