NatPower H is excited to announce its role as the official technical sponsor for Bluegame, a distinguished brand of the Sanlorenzo Group, at the 2024 America’s Cup, further promoting the global adoption of green hydrogen.
This year, for the first time, the protocol of the America’s Cup, scheduled in Barcelona from August to October this year, requires each challenging team to build and operate hydrogen-powered foil chase boats. These vessels must have a minimum length of 10 meters, reach a speed of 50 knots and have a range of 180 miles.
Bluegame has entered into an innovative agreement for the design and construction of hydrogen-powered chase boats, with two of the six teams that will participate in the 37th America’s Cup.
NatPower H as official technical sponsor of Bluegame will offer support to both the New York Club American Magic (US) team and the Orient Express (FR) team for the supply of green hydrogen and the implementation of safe refueling procedures for the two chase boat during the testing and preparation phases of the competition.
