Presenting company track #3 of the CleanTech Innovation Showcase featured three presenting companies: Matidor, CTFusion, and Oneka Technologies.

First, Vincent Lam from Matidor presented about their intuitive map-based collaboration platform for field work. Their platform helps field work professionals such as environmental consultants move from data from stagnate spreadsheets to visualizing, streamlining and more effectively collaborating in real time based around site specific projects.

Next, Derek Sutherland from CTFusion presented about their magnetic confinement DT (deuterium-tritium) fusion technology, which is a novel method that greatly simplifies and lowers the cost of fusion energy by mimicking the natural dynamo of the sun’s solar loops. They are currently funded by two ARPA-E grants through 2021. Their goal is low-cost, on-demand, carbon-free power generation with 100+ MW output with a small physical footprint.

The third and final speaker was Dragan Tutic from Oneka Technologies. Oneka is a 2020 U.S. DOE Wave to Water Prize winner and their desalination technology is powered through wave motion and can be implemented without any land use. Their technology can take wave energy and sea water to provide unlimited and sustainable drinking water directly to localities that have water scarcity issues.
