CMC Research Institutes (CMCRI) is a Canadian not-for-profit organization with experts and facilities who work with innovators, researchers and corporations to accelerate the development and adoption of technologies to address climate change. In partnership with the University of Calgary and BC Research Inc., we strive to accelerate Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), greenhouse gas monitoring and other technologies to meet the increasing global demand for solutions that reduce industrial emissions.

Reporting to an international Board of Directors and championing the vision of the organization, our President and CEO is accountable to raise awareness of CMCRI’s value proposition, drive strategic planning, and act as our lead spokesperson to maintain key partnerships and stakeholder relationships.  You will provide inspiration and oversight to a well-run, safe and efficient organization.  You will leverage our assets to ensure CMCRI remains competitive in the global innovation market while advancing solutions to address our country’s emissions targets. 

As the ideal candidate, you are entrepreneurial, visionary and possess the ability to communicate with purpose.  You bring a minimum of 15 years of business and operational experience at the executive level within a relevant sector that has garnered you capability in communications, marketing, revenue generation, financial management, community engagement, technology development and government relations.  You are an exceptional listener and collaborator with the proven capacity to act as a catalyst who can influence and inspire others.
