The Washington State Department of Commerce has filed its proposed rules and CR-102 for the appliance standards rulemaking. These documents will be published in the Washington State Register on Nov. 20 and are currently available on Commerce’s Appliance Standards webpage.
A public hearing on these proposed rules will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec.16 at the Commerce Olympia offices (1011 Plum St SE).
The deadline for submitting written comments on the proposed rules is also Dec. 16. Send comments by email to appliances@commerce.wa.gov.
